The Big Issue Foundation's Big London Night walk, our biggest fundraising event, and our involvement in The Bristol Sleep Out was cancelled on Friday due to the severe weather conditions from the Beast from the East.

These fundraising events were on course to help us raise over £100,000 for Big Issue vendors, but had to be called off because of the extreme weather conditions that hit London, Bristol and our Big Night Walk participants across the UK.

Many of our dedicated participants are still fundraising in the knowledge that our work will go on. We are now calling on our community of supporters across the country, and around the world, to #StepAgainstTheStorm with them and donate today to ensure that we have the vital funds needed to support Big Issue vendors in taking positive steps away from the streets.

Our work continues regardless of the weather, and we hope that people can donate in the knowledge that every penny raised is vital in our support work and the journey of change we try so hard to create for Big Issue vendors - whatever the circumstances.
