Blood Bikes Cumbria provides a free urgent/emergency transport service across Cumbria for NHS hospitals and the Great North Air Ambulance. We transport blood and related products using a fleet of motorcycles and cars. 

Blood Bikes Cumbria is a member of NABB (National Association of Blood Bikes) and we work with neighbouring groups as part of a team to transport urgent products including blood, samples and breast milk, across the Country.

We are dependent on charitable donations and sponsorship.  Blood Bikes Cumbria is run entirely by volunteers.
