Story
As many of you will remember, as a community we built the Hill Station together in 2009. Many of you got involved, by donating money, passing on furniture or plates and, importantly, digging out the ground and creating the space.
Almost ten years later the Hill Station has continued to thrive as a wonderful community space where ideas are hatched, friendships formed and support given and received. If you are new to the area and had no idea - why not ask someone who was involved and hear all about it.
The Arts have always been an important part of the space - Artmongers' Fabric of Society artwork around the building and decking, many amazing art installations inside and an astonishing range of musical performances.
With this year's Telegraph Hill Festival almost upon us it is hard to imagine how we managed before we all built the Hill Station.
So during the Festival you will see us encouraging donations for our new piano fund. One that is robust enough for community use and musical enough for the talented people who will play it.
And after the Festival, in April we will have a 2 day pianothon! Your chance to play or listen or sponsor pianists. Lets make the money for a new piano together the way we made the Hill Station together. With joy and common purpose.
