Covid-19 has put people with heart and circulatory conditions at greater risk than ever. But the effect of the virus has also cut our new lifesaving research in half. Slowing down now would put even more lives at stake. At a time when hearts need help more than ever, we urgently need your support.

• £2 can help researchers we fund to isolate the DNA from a patient’s blood sample, in the hope of finding faulty genes causing heart and circulatory diseases.

• £25 could help to give a researcher an hour of access to a powerful microscope – helping them to see what’s going on inside heart and blood vessel cells.
