The cast are currently in rehearsal for this year’s show “The Wizard of Oz”, although the show is part funded through various sources there is still a shortfall. Can you please help Castaway and its members? If you live anywhere in Yorkshire then please come along to the show they will blow your socks off! The show must go on.

Castaway is a charity that works to enable adults and young people with learning and physical disabilities, autism spectrum conditions or mental health difficulties to access high quality arts opportunities. All activities are led by professional artists experienced in working with people with additional needs. 

We believe in the power of the arts to transform lives and our activities and projects are of great benefit to physical health and well-being and can be a key factor in the transition from childhood to adulthood and a sense of belonging and engagement in the community.   Participants make new friends, grow in independence and in some cases are assisted in moving towards employment.  We currently have over 100 participants who come from all over the Yorkshire & Humber region with provision for fully accessible transport for those who need it.
