Singing is good for us; it promotes personal wellbeing, inspires us and unites communities. We pride ourselves on our choral programme, which provides a wealth of musical experiences for over 600 singers of all ages and backgrounds.
Every week through our Children's and Youth choruses young people aged 8-18 receive choral education of the highest quality, singing challenging repertoire with world-renowned conductors. Meanwhile, CBSO Young Voices and our two community choirs SO Vocal and Handsworth Community Choir gather to sing a broad range of music whilst having fun, increasing confidence and changing perceptions of classical music.
