Ghana is home to Lake Volta, the largest manmade lake in the world, where child slavery is rampant. Here, thousands of children are sold and forced to fish each year; each working up to 17 hours a day in grueling conditions. Many never return. 

Challenging Heights is one of the largest rescue forces in West Africa and this year. We have a comprehensive approach to ending trafficking in Ghana and we know it works. 

Through rescue and rehabilitation for enslaved children, school for the victims and vulnerable kids, and business training for mothers; we are ending child slavery in Ghana. But we can't stop now.
