Story
One in ten children aged 5 – 16 in Lancashire have a mental health issue. But only a quarter of those who need treatment will receive it. It could be the son or daughter of one of your co-workers. It could be the child next door. It could be your child. It could be YOU.
We want to create a brighter future for children in Lancashire. That’s why we’re launching Emojinal Health, a fundraising campaign to raise the cash needed for a new telephone counselling service that will provide advice and guidance for children who experience low level mental health issues including anxiety, depression and low self-esteem. CANW needs to reach a target of £125,000 in order to set up the service and keep it running for two years. Addressing young people’s mental health concerns at an early stage can stop them escalating and help to avoid further problems in adulthood. That’s why a service like this is so important.
This is a service that will make a huge difference to the lives of children across Lancashire.
And YOU can help us #makeithappen.
