Our Cycle Workshop is a great place to learn basic cycle maintenance.

Organised by St Paul’s Centre

Two of our volunteers are cycling 90 miles to raise money for our Cycle Workshop. One is a seasoned cyclist, the other uses her bike to nip to the local shops.

St. Paul's Centre aims to give Confidence, Opportunity, Hope and Dignity to the local community. We support those in need with our food bank, furniture referral service, 'Futures' department for adults with additional needs, our cycle workshop and the 'Extra miles' hospital discharge scheme.

Story

Donated cycles are given a new lease of life by trainees and supported adults under the guide of volunteer mentors. Cycles are stripped if not suitable for a refurb and parts used for other cycles. Names of tools and bike parts are learnt as the maintenance of each cycle is worked upon.

These cycles are then sold to the general public at reasonable costs.

Money raised will go towards equipment and upkeep of the volunteer led  Workshop
