Story
Last year, with thanks to the generous support of our local community, we were able to open Patchwork Farm, a new therapeutic care farm which has been designed specifically to meet the needs of young people with complex disabilities, with wheelchair friendly walkways, a raised viewing platform and a covered Outdoor Learning Centre.
Although the Farm is now fully up and running, we are continuing to fundraise to cover the costs of adding:
A feed storage shed, ensuring that the Outdoor Learning Centre can remain a spacious area for the young people to learn and interact with animals;
A new field shelter to house our donkeys;
An Outdoor Classroom/reception area which will be used both for our pupils, and to enable us to begin welcoming visiting groups from outside Schools.
The total cost of providing these additions is £14,497.
