18 months ago I became increasingly aware of the needs for those in Colchester who are on the poverty line. I spent sometime looking at agencies around Colchester to support and was touched by the work of Foodbank.

I supported as a Trustee for a time period and am looking at ways that I can continue to help the charity so that they reach more people with our work.

Being overweight it seemed to be an appropriate sacrifice to lose it (lose Lb's)  and at the same time gain funding (gain £'s) for Foodbank. Some others have joined me in this activity and anyone else who wants to lose weight and generate fundraising for Foodbank is very welcome to be involved.

Thank you for anything you are able to give to Foodbank. I am going through 2 hours of gruelling exercise at 6.30am and some pain to get your generous. The aim is 5 1/2 stone across 30 months and so far 2 stone has gone.
