Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary is a registered charity situated close to Antrim. The sanctuary has been a registered charity since 1996 and is the only welfare and rescue organisation for horses and ponies in Northern Ireland.

In light of recent events this fundraising page has been set up for us with the intention to raise funds to help us increase security at the sanctuary.

We are continuing our search to find our stolen pregnant mare River and we want to do everything we can to ensure that this sort of thing never happens again.

We are all truly heartbroken that her chance at a new happy life has been snatched away from her and we can only hope that she and her unborn baby are somewhere safe.


All money raised from this appeal will go towards installing new and more secure locks, gates, fencing and hopefully CCTV/alarm system if we can raise enough!
