Addiction Family Support was established by Elizabeth Burton-Phillips who lost one of her twin sons, Nick, to heroin. Open to anyone who is affected or bereaved by a loved one's harmful use of alcohol, drugs or gambling. Our helpline 0300 888 3853 gives more information about our services.

Story

On Saturday 25th June Elizabeth along with friends and supporters will be donning their walking boots to climb Mount Snowdon in memory of Elizabeth's son Nicholas Mills and to celebrate DrugFAM's 10th anniversary.

Once at the top of the mountain there will be a short ceremony where candles will be lit and prayers will be said in memory of those we have lost to addiction. We will also be reading poems and letters on behalf of DrugFAM's bereaved families.

We are aiming to raise funds to help us continue supporting families who have been bereaved by drugs or alcohol.  DrugFAM offers support in the following ways:

- Quarterly support groups for bereaved families at our High Wycombe office

- An annual bereavement conference

- Our telephone helpline- One-to-one support

In recognition of DrugFAM's 10th anniversary we are inviting donations of £10 in order to help us to continue providing these services to our clients.

Alternatively if you feel like joining the walk please email paula@rockdoveltd.com
