East Sussex WRAS was established as a voluntary group in 1996, but founder Trevor Weeks has been rescuing wildlife since 1985. The charity was set up to provide a front-line rescue & hospital service for people finding wildlife casualties as well as offering advice and information.

Story

WRAS operates 6 veterinary ambulances dealing with casualties on the road side or at people's homes, helping many casualties which would otherwise not make it to a wildlife hospital.

Running an ambulance service as well as a veterinary hospital is time consuming and expensive. So please support our work helping those creatures which, unlike their domestic or agricultural cousins, don't have owners to look after them or pay their vets bills.
