A toilet at the church

The church needs a toilet! Work on our new eco-toilet starts in July and it's a race now to raise the £7,000 needed to build it.

Elvington Church shares God’s love in our local community by being central in the life of the village, serving the community at all times, good and bad, caring and praying and being a family where everyone can come together.

Story

The church needs a toilet. Especially for children and older people, having a toilet is important. Currently, we rely on friendly neighbours when caught short!

Please help - either dontate through justgiving - please use the gift-aid box so we can reclaim the 25% uplift from the tax

We will be building an ourdoor "eco-toilet" - a composting toilet that needs no sewerage (which would otherwise cost over £20,000 to install a sewer). This toilet is the most economical option. Its tasteful wooden building will be sited near the front of the church, where we currently store the waste bins.

Work on our new eco-toilet starts in July and it's a race now to raise the 7,000 needed to build it.

We now have a faculty (like church planning permission), the company is coming and now we just need to get fund raising!
