Story

The Eyot Centre is asking for your help to install a Defibrillator at the Eyot Centre in Henley. It will be available to Centre users, their families, visitors and members of the public who contact the emergency services. We know that fit adults or even youth can collapse during exercise and that medical intervention in the first few minutes can make all the difference to a patient’s chance of survival. Delays can be life threatening, in the case of a Cardiac Arrest or Heart Attack. Our Defibrillators is designed to be used with little or no training and has a built-in computer that automatically analyzes the patient's heart rhythm to figure out whether a shock will help them and if so, what level of shock is appropriate.
