Story
Off Centre transforms the lives of young people struggling with their mental health through counselling, art psychotherapy and advice. Our services are free, confidential and open to everyone.
£15 could pay for art materials for a course of art psychotherapy for one young person, helping them express their feelings about experiences too traumatic to put into words.
£60 could pay for one counselling session, helping a young person open up for the first time.
£500 could pay for 3 months of counselling for a young person, giving them the long-term support they need to build resilience for future challenges.
We support Hackney’s young people to have greater control over their lives. At Off Centre, young people have access to counsellors, psychotherapists, art psychotherapists and advice workers specialising in areas such as housing, education and employment.
We support people with all kinds of emotional issues including depression, anxiety, self harm, gender/sexuality/identity and abuse (sexual, physical, emotional). Through counselling and art psychotherapy we help young people express the emotions, thoughts and feelings surrounding their mental health and past trauma.
