It's open to the whole family, with a 'Mini-Rush' taking place before the main event for any little ones who want to be part of this spectacular event, but who might not manage the full 5k! (Please note: children under 5 are welcome to take part in the 5k event, but it is their parent or carer's responsibility to ensure their safety.)  It's not just for fun though - Colour Rush helps Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity raise crucial funds for Florrie's Children's Team, which provides care for children suffering with life-limiting illness in their own home.
