Ready...steady...Christmas!
Get your family into the Christmas mood and kickstart your festive season at the annual Thame Festive Fun Run in aid of Florence Nightingale Hospice, organised by Thame & District Lions Club. Dress up as Santa, an elf or even a turkey and take all the family on this easy 3km route through Thame Town Centre.
Have some fun and fresh air for all the family as you prepare for the season of giving and sharing - every penny raised goes to Florence Nightingale Hospice, caring for people who are suffering from life-limiting illnesses, and supporting their families through a very difficult time - at Christmas and all year round.
What is the Festive Fun Run?
It's a 3k circular route which you can run, jog, walk, scoot or push a buggy or wheelchair round! It starts and finishes at Thame Town Hall. There'll be a very special visitor (white beard, red and white hat and clothes, drives a sleigh) cheering everyone on and saying hello to all the children!There will also be a seasonal soundtrack provided by the Chiltern Songbirds and Racquets Fitness Centre are sending a crack team of elves to get everyone warmed up and ready for action!
Suitable for all ages and mobility levels!
It's open to the whole family, and the route is wheelchair, pushchair and mobility scooter-friendly. You can even bring the dog!
How to enter
Online registrations for the Festive Fun Run close at 12pm on Thursday 30 November but you can sign up on the day at the Thame Town Hall from 9am.Click here to register and follow the easy to use online registration!
