The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileThe Forever Stars Remembrance Garden will be a place where families can relax, remember and reflect on their baby & child loss journey in an evironment that is both beautiful to look at and respectful to their needs.
For Forever Stars, a remembrance garden is the next step in supporting families in and around the East Midlands following their time in hospital, sometimes visiting a baby's or childs grave is either too hard or indeed difficult due to family circumstances, so we want to provide a garden where they are free to visit whenever and however they want.
The Forever Stars Remembrance Garden will also be a place for families to mark their baby and child's name on a leaf within a tree of tranquility, for many families who suffered baby loss many years ago, this could be their only tribute to their lost baby.
The Forever Stars Remembrance Garden will be filled with wild flowers, a water feature, seating areas and picnic areas so that anyone who walks around it will both feel welcome and be able to take in the stunning landscape architecture.
The Garden will cost approx £1m and based on our previous fundraising experience we believe it will take approx 5 years to complete the project.
We need as many people as possible help us fundraise to achieve something special at Highfields Park that will hopefully become a focal point for baby and child loss families in Nottingham, the East Midlands and even nationally.
