What is Caketober?

Throughout October, we are encouraging anyone across Greater Manchester who will listen to bake and sell cakes in order to raise money for Forever Manchester.

Our intention is that businesses, community groups and friends across the region can get their staff, volunteers and friends in the kitchen showing off their skills. Everyone can then pay to sample each other’s work, enjoying some delicious cakes as well as raising money for a very worthy cause.

We also want to see people in fancy dress wherever possible, with further collections being held to raise even more cash for Forever Manchester.

You could even put your own spin on things with prizes for the best/worst efforts!
