Visit the charity's profileWinter brings with it the feeling of a holiday season. A time when all our loved ones gather together to enjoy a hot cup of coffee or tea in our cozy homes. However, little do we realise that there are many who don’t just miss out on the luxuries of life, but are not able to afford even a single warm blanket or clothes to shield themselves from the freezing temperature of India's capital, Delhi. Each year, hundreds of poor and needy people, in the urban slums lose their lives to the chilly weather of the capital.
The purpose of 'Share the Warmth' campaign is to help people living in the slums cope with harsh winters by providing them with the blankets and warm clothes in the winter.
This is what your support can do:
£10 will mean that one child from Asha’s slum community will have warm clothes this winter
£12 will mean that one University student from Asha’s slum community will have warm clothes this winter
£14 will mean that one Asha child/elderly person will have blankets this winter
Help us to put a warm smile on their cold faces with your generosity.
