Friends of Mitchell House is a charity which supports the pupils of the School and their families. We rent out the Boathouse property which we own and use the income along with funds raised from a range of fundraising activities to help pupils of Mitchell House School.  We own a minibus and lease a second one which are used to transport pupil to other Schools , to sporting activities and work experience placements. We respond to requests from School staff and pupils for specialist equipment, additional equipment and toys. We help fund the School Summer Scheme, residential trips and School Formal. We employ the services of a music therapist to help with the development of some of the pupils of the School.  A wing walk will be taking place on Sunday 13th May 2018 which has been organised by one of our parents (Mr Brian Mayne) at his own expense.
