We are Kinship.  The leading kinship care charity in England and Wales. We’re here for Kinship carers – friends or family who step up to raise a child when their parents aren’t able to.  Let’s commit to change for kinship families.

Story

To mark the Queen's 90th birthday Terry Keen, a tenant at Anchor's Willow Glade in Surrey, is embarking on a 1,400-mile cycle ride, visiting 90 Anchor locations, to ask customers and staff to sign a very special birthday card.Terry will set off on his journey on Monday 14 March and will present the signed card to Buckingham Palace in May at the start of Her Majesty's birthday celebrations.

As part of his tour he will be raising money for Grandparents Plus, the national charity which champions the vital role of grandparents and the wider family in children's lives - especially when they take on the caring role in difficult family circumstances.

Terry has been married to Jacquie for 50 years and has four children and 11 grandchildren. He felt inspired to raise money for Grandparents Plus because his friends are grandparents who are raising their grandchildren.
