On Sunday 26th June the Greggs board circumnavigated Tyne & Wear, climbing to Consett en route, inorder to raise funds for Greggs Foundation's.

Thank you so much for your generous support for The Greggs Board Bike Ride.  With your help we have raised, so far a fantastic £12,462.80 which will enable Greggs Foundation to support disadvantaged people across the country.  Typically the Foundation supports people with disabilities,homeless people, voluntary carers and vulnerable or isolated older people so your sponsorship will make a real difference.

We were blessed with good weather on the day of the ride,were mainly accident free (well done for finishing Sandra), but had a lot of punctures (all Richard’s).  Some photos are attached showing us setting off from Newcastle’s quayside and finishing at the sea front in South Shields,supported along the way by Jo & Lucy, our camper van crew.
