West Boldon Lodge is a environmental education centre surrounded by 13 hectares of habitats and is the only centre of its kind in South Tyneside!  In 2016 we need your help to reach more local families and people by improving our woodland habitats! In the last year alone West Boldon Lodge has educated 1884 school children, welcomed over 5565 adults and children on site to spend quality time together, engaged over 250 volunteers and gifted 1260 Christmas trees saplings to children from Santa to take home and grow in their own garden!

We need to raise £10,000 to improve our woodland, which will benefit the 100's of children who visit the site each year and also the large array of wildlife found on site. £10,000 would help us plant new trees, buy new equipment to better maintain the woodland, pay for much needed tree surgery on our maturing woodland and to engage even more children and adults at the lodge, to help them better understand the importance of trees and the environment.
