Story
Jarrow Hall Anglo-Saxon Farm, Village and Bede Museum, managed by Groundwork, will re-open in October 2016, providing a community resource focused on the Anglo-Saxon period and celebrating the life and times of the Venerable Bede, through a museum, educational programmes, reconstruction of an Anglo-Saxon village and working farm.
A significant amount of finance has been raised through fundraising and invested by the charity itself, however we still need support in rising funds to help the restoration of the Anglo-Saxon Farm.
Any funds raised through this campaign will directly contribute to the purchase of equipment and much needed materials for the improvement of the farm including new enclosure fencing, which will ensure all visitors have an enjoyable experience and the safety of our animals.
