Organised by The Friends of Hadrian SchoolThe Lord’s Taverners have agreed to sponsor a new 16 seater accessible bus, but we need to raise £17,000 towards the cost. We have over half of this amount but need to raise £7000 before April 2017!

Visit the charity's profileThe Friends of Hadrian School are a Registered Charity with the sole purpose ofsupporting the work of Hadrian School by fundraising for specialist play and therapy resources.
Hadrian is a primary school for children across the whole city of Newcastle Upon Tyne who have severe and profound learning disabilities and associated physical and medical difficulties. We have up to 175 children on our roll, from age 3 to 11years. Despite the challenges and obstacles our pupils encounter, Hadrian is a vibrant, happy community where children can learn to become as independent as possible, whatever their level of development, in an environment which encourages confidence, self-esteem and dignity.
An additional minibus would enable our growing population of children to access additional extended opportunities outside of school e.g. accessing therapeutic resources, educational visits and fun outings.
