Story

We believe that the beautiful beaches in and around St Andrews should be accessible to everyone. Unfortunately, many elderly and disabled people are unable to gain access to the beach. With a little help, this can become a possibility... Beach wheelchairs can enable those with mobility issues, which prevent them from being able to access the beach, to get right down to the water or simply enjoy a stroll along the sand.

Following the success of the North Berwick 'Beach Wheelchairs' project, Tourism St Andrews and the Hamish Foundation have joined forces and have created an  action group to make  this possibile  offering a similar service in St Andrews. Are you interested in helping as a volunteer or making a donation. We would be delighted to have your support!
