AIM: To generate £50,000 for Hedge Funds Care UK - Help For Children whose solemission is preventing and treating child abuse inthe UK.
WHY DOES HELP FOR CHILDREN EXIST? Hedge Funds Care UK - Help For Children (HFC UK) is a charitysupported by the financial industry whose sole mission is preventingand treating child abuse in the UK.
WHY HELP FOR CHILDREN? Child abuse occurs across all socio-economic, religious, racial, ethnic andclass divides. In the UK alone, there are around 50,000 Children on the at riskregister. You only have to open the newspaper to recognise the extent of theproblem & the hopelessness of these children. Child abuse and neglect is ahidden problem, often happening behind closed doors. It is not a topic thatpeople want to discuss and for that reason it is often misunderstood.
WE HAVE ONE CLEAR GOAL: To raise as much money as possible to fund the programmes that prevent &treat child abuse in the UK - the programmes we fund make a difference.
