Story

Junior has come to us after spending several years living on the streets with his owner sleeping in door ways. At only 5 years old, the wear and tear of his previous life is now showing and sadly due to his breed and giant size he suffers with the common issue of Hip & Elbow Dysplasia. Although this doesn't affect his larger than life character, it is a painful condition if left untreated. Pain relief is only a short term answer as it can leave a lasting affect on his internal organs, hence our appeal to send Junior for courses of Hydro  Therapy which has many proven benefits including:

· Relief from pain, swelling and stiffness.

· Non weight bearing exercise.

· Promotion of relaxation.

· Joint mobilisation.

· Cardiovascular fitness (heart and lungs)

· Muscle strengthening, maintenance & restoration.

· Increase in range of motion of affected joints.

· Improved circulation.

To help ease painful joints whilst avoiding medication, especially at such a young age would be so beneficial. The improved mobility may also improve his chance of finding a new home, as all he really wants is someone who has owned similar large dogs before who can understand his needs and provide plenty of company and some nice relaxing walks. Please can you help this lovable gentle giant who loves to give big sloppy kisses to enjoy the rest of his life free from the pain he has endured so stoically for so long. With your invaluable support we can ensure Junior will have a new lease of life and a future to look forward to. Thank you so much in advance.
