The Honeypot Children's Charity's vision is for every child to make the most of their one chance at childhood. 

Since 1996 we have been working to enhance the lives of young carers and vulnerable children ages 5-12 years by providing residential respite breaks and on going outreach support. The charity gives young carers a break from demanding and stressful responsibilities at home and provide a safe, nuturing environment where children at risk can develop to their full potential.

1,2 Bee Awesome is our new virtual event for all members of the community, from age 5 to 95 you can really make a difference.

Each discipline has three distances to make sure that everyone can take part!

The distance chosen is done wherever, however and at any point over the month of June. Clock up your miles at your weekly parkrun, swimming lessons, your park or using a treadmill at your local gym!

In 2017, at Honeypot we supported our children to:

Flip 576 pancakes

Plant 60 trees

Lose 3 Kites

54 children learnt to ride a bike 

There was also over 85 hours spent in the swimming pool giving children water confidence.

We supported over 1000 children but this year we would love to reach out to many more.
