Horatio’s Garden nurtures the wellbeing of people after spinal injury in beautiful, vibrant sanctuaries within the heart of NHS spinal injury centres. Leading designers create the accessible gardens where the charity’s team, alongside volunteers and creatives, care for people and plants alike.

Story

Horatio's Garden London will be at The London Spinal Cord Injury Centre (LSCIC) at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital London.

The garden has been designed by Tom Stuart-Smith and will create a beautiful haven for patients and their families away from the wards. Stunning garden rooms will mean the space can be used in any weathers.

The LSCIC is one of only 11 in the UK designated to receive and treat spinal cord injured patients. The Centre currently has 40 beds for adults, children and young people. These beds include beds for acute care, first episode of rehabilitation and readmission.
