Story
Dime is a Shire horse who was rescued in November 2017 along with 18 other heavy horses. Dime, Florin and Lolly were all rescued by HorseWorld, the other 16 were shared among various other equine rescue organisations.Dime has no tail and therefore cannot relieve herself of the flies that pester and bite horses during the summer months. Her tail may have been docked as she was intended as a working horse or she may have had an accident, we don't know. There is barely any dock bone left at all.
We would like to buy her a special fly rug to keep the flies off of her but she is so big, it has to be specially ordered for her. We'd like to raise £70 to buy this.
Any extra funds raised will be used towards caring for and feeding the other 104 rescued horses on site, all of which have their own unique needs.
