The ICE Benevolent Fund does not receive income from ICE members' subscriptions. Every year we encourage members to donate £10 to us during their subscription renewal process. All monies raised alongside subscription renewals goes directly to an ICE member in need.

Since 2012 the number of members donating has been falling by 6% each year. 

Our civil engineering community is very generous and in 2015, 31,400 members donated to the Benevolent Fund. However, we distribute more funds than we receive from members. On average over £500,000 a year is given to ICE members in need.
