<p>Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,</p><p>Having commenced our fundraising for the <strong>Masjid Al-Hikmah Expansion and Renovation Project</strong> during Ramadhan 1438 (2017), after some delays due to paperwork formalities, works finally got underway in November 2017.&nbsp;</p><p>As a reminder, the entire project includes:</p><p>🌳 &nbsp;Excavation of the garden, to create basement level floor.</p><p>🚰 &nbsp;New Wudhu and toilet facilities.</p><p>☪ &nbsp;Extension of the main prayer hall together with extension to the first floor.</p><p>🔨 &nbsp;Loft conversion.&nbsp;</p><p>🔧 &nbsp;Complete Renovation.</p><p>Alhamdulillaah Phase 1 of the project has been progressing. This includes the excavation in the garden of No. 70 to create the new basement level floor and also the internal work to No. 70. However, due to experiencing difficulties there have been delays.&nbsp;</p><p>Alhamdulillah through the grace of Almighty Allāh there has been tremendous support through your Lillāh donations as well as Qardh-e-Hasanah loans.&nbsp;</p><p>The Masjid URGENTLY requires approximately a further £300,000 to complete phase 1 and therefore humbly request you to continue assisting and indeed increase in your donations.&nbsp;</p><p>We encourage all the congregation to play their part, by donating whatever they can as a one off, setting up a standing order.&nbsp;</p><p>We also urge everyone to fundraise on behalf of the Masjid using the JustGiving Fundraising option.
