Every day we help many children across townships in South Africa escape from abuse, poverty and social problems. We provide workshops with music and dance as a form of therapy and support.

We have an afternoon care program running for 40 children daily, Monday to Saturday. We prepare lunches for them everyday which costs us about $500/month.

We also have a program at a few shelters providing safety for abused children where we do drumming sessions with the children as a form of therapy on weekends. Our main cost is the transportation of drums and other equipment to and from each shelter which currently costs $500/month. If we can raise enough for a 'bakkie' (pick up truck) then it would be a great investment. A good truck would cost $4500.

We also need to purchase additional instruments as the project grows in size. We currently need 15 drums for our 2016 project which cost $100 each.

For our year budget we need to raise $12k to keep the project running for 2016.
