Visit the charity's profileKashmir Relief & Development Foundation (KRDF) is a UK- based (Waltham Forest) registered charity that provides free education in remote areas of Kashmir. Established in 2005 after the devastating earthquake that left over 70,000 people dead and almost all education infrastructure destroyed, we have successfully built schools for children, helped thousands of women by providing them free vocational training and have helped many remote areas by providing fresh water supply. OUR MISSION: KRDF strives to empower individuals especially those who are in dire need of help by providing them with quality education. We aim to be at the forefront of empowering women and helping to make them self reliant. We also endeavour to transform lives by improving access to safe water in remote areas. We identify remote areas in Kashmir and develop facilities to educate the children to the best standard possible.
