Story
Before I came to Leicester Animal Aid, I had been away from my owners for some time and I hadn’t had somewhere I could call home for months. When I first arrived, I was taken by a very friendly human to “Grant’s Inn” where all new dogs stay. It was clean and quiet, and I was given tasty food, fuss and a nice bath. I was also given my own secure space to relax in, with a nice, warm and cosy bed. I was already starting to feel a bit better and I knew I’d made it to somewhere I would be safe. I met a kind vet, who gave me, like all new arrivals, a full health check, along with vaccinations, flea and worm treatment for those that need it. I wasn’t feeling or looking my best, but she was very gentle and patient with me. I was feeling sorry for myself as I had very sore eyes and skin and I’d lost quite a lot of my fur. Thanks to donations from kind supporters of Leicester Animal Aid, I was able to get the veterinary treatment I needed to make me better.
