The  very popular Little Aston Recreation Ground has been described by local press as a "magnet for the local community". It is predominantly an 8 acre site for recreation activities for all ages. As a charity, LARGA raises funds to maintain and improve the amenities it offers from children’s play equipment through to adult exercise facilities and tranquil rest areas surrounded by beautiful plants and trees. Ten years ago, when the site was re-developed, areas of natural habitat for wildlife were incorporated and to date, no fewer than 20 individual hedgehogs have been recorded on the site and the bird, butterfly and moth population and diversity has escalated. With so much to offer the site is used by local people exercising, walking their dogs, having fun with their children and enjoying nature at its best. This is an area where children learn to ride bikes and kick a ball, our canine friends get their exercise and where families and friends meet to enjoy time together. LARGA is funded through donations, grants, the sale of gifted trees and benches and our annual Party In the Park event. Please can you help us raise the additional funds needed to provide our community with this potentially lifesaving piece of equipment. 

We have long believed in the importance of having a defibrillator on site. We are situated next to a school and our visitors fall into all age groups. Having found a model that is suitable for children and adults we now need to purchase a cabinet to fit it into and provide an electrical supply to that cabinet. As we don't currently have an electrical supply we need to raise the funds to install one.
