Story
As well as all our existing animal rescue and rehabilitation work, by moving onto this larger property Last Chance Hotel can expand into a Wildlife rescue and rehabilitation program.
We will be entering into an Environment Stewardship scheme, so we can nurture and sustain the local bio diversity of the land whilst treading lightly on our planet and leaving a legacy of success and caring.
And our Promise of Guardianship to the wildlife on the land that we will protect has already begun before we have moved in.
This means that one of our immediate responsibilities will be to erect fencing that will keep the badgers, foxes and other wildlife the land safe and undisturbed as they roam about our land whilst we continue to build the Sanctuary and provide a secure enrichment area on the property for the training, exercise and well being of the other animals that Last Chance Hotel will be caring for on a day to day basis.
Last Chance Hotel still has to meet its everyday expenses with spiraling veterinarian and running costs and all the work that is undertaken at the Sanctuary will be additional to our already limited finances and resources. The Fencing will be supplied and erected under the guidance of wildlife expert advice. We're all still volunteers because we believe so strongly in our domestic and wildlife rescue work that we give our time freely and this will continue with the Sanctuary management.
Will you help us protect our wildlife and achieve our first committed duty to our environment by donating towards the cost of the Otter Fencing that we will need to erect as soon as possible to safeguard the badgers, foxes and other wildlife at High View Farm?
