Story
When Ruth was told her daughter, Rebecca, had died within hours of birth in a Spanish hospital in 1992, a child she never saw or held, she was devastated.
In 2012 a friend told her of revelations of widespread baby trafficking across Spain. 1,000’s and 1,000’s of babies allegedly taken at birth and sold without the knowledge or consent of parents who had been told they had died.
one lonely voice is campaigning to find other parents, across Europe and beyond whose children 'died' under similar circumstance. The costs of pursuing such cases are vast. Your generosity towards the costs of preparing, campaigning and providing legal support is vital.
Caring and sharing the information about cases like Ruth's, is so important. Appearing at the EU Parliament in 2015, Ruth asked for hers and other cases to no longer be ignored. She needs your support to help her campaign for these parents to be heard at last.
