Story
*The trip will benefit 15 learning disabled young people
*Our tour at the Houses of Parliament has been booked and we have a special guide. Sarah Wollaston’s Parliamentary Assistant has booked a meeting room – so young people can hear more about their role and hopefully get responses to their questions from the Minister for Disability.
*A state of the art adventure playground in London called Kids Adventure Play in Hackney have invited us to spend the day with them, and…
*The Really Useful Group Charity who are the production company for School of Rock might be giving us some free tickets for the show – watch this space…
*The young people at Kool Club will be running a carwash and cake sale at the Rushbrook Centre to help raise funds for their trip...
*we are being supported by help from the YHA, SoundArt Radio and the generosity of 3 amazing volunteers...
...HOWEVER we desperately need to raise a further £1635 to make this trip of a lifetime come true for the members of Kool Club.
Please consider making a donation- every little bit helps and will get them one step closer to London and the Houses of Parliament to make their voices heard.
We are hoping to be able to confirm if the trip can go ahead on Friday 24 March.
**Big thanks to Totnes Flooring, Totnes Chamber of Commerce and Ray Cooney Productions for donations so far!**
