Frank the Bulldog arrived in Moorview a few months ago through no fault of his own.

We noticed that this poor boy was struggling to eat and we initially thought the problem lay with his teeth

He was seen and then sent for blood tests by our vet who sadly  didn’t have very good news when the results came back.

Frank had a lump the size of a pear which turned out to be cancerous . 

Frank has now undergone surgery and has been hospitalised for 2 weeks. He had both of his thyroid glands removed, including the cancerous lump.

Unfortunately, it was a very aggressive type of cancer that had already spread. His calcium levels are also extremely low putting him at high risk of seizures. To overcome this, Frank has been having daily blood tests and medication, costing  £2000 to date which is a normal monthly bill for our dogs here at the rescue. We really need your kind help to pay for his medical costs if you can spare a few pounds 

Poor Frank was struggling and has now been returned to the foster home he was in and will live what time he has left there .
