Msingi wa Tumaini’s vision is of a world in which every child is provided with food and shelter as well as physical and moral education, in which orphans and vulnerable children are enabled to fulfil their innate potential and women are empowered to act as agents of development in their local communities. The purpose of Msingi wa Tumaini is to foster communities whose ways will give hope to the world by empowering orphans and vulnerable children, junior youth and women to uphold a standard far above the low threshold by which the world measures itself.

Story

We have identified a significant gap in how child protection policies are implemented. Our main aim is through training implement, support and strengthen a child protection system.

We recognized that we could successfully achieve this goal by delivering child protection training to all professionals and stakeholders working with children.

We aim to bring parents, teachers and stakeholders in the community together to provide child protection training so that they can provide a safe environment for school-age children to learn, play and develop without the fear of sexual abuse or exploitation.

We aim to foster and develop protective attitudes and practices which ensure child safety and the best interest of children in a culturally sensitive platform.

Your donations will go a long way in enabling professionals from the UK and Kenya to design and implement training programs in rural areas of Kenya which will ensure that vulnerable children are kept safe.
