Story
We take pride in caring and nurturing our children. Providing them with nutritious meals to sustain them throughout the day is a central part of their development. For many of us meal times are something to look forward to for the whole family.
But for millions of children around the world, life is not so simple. Without access to nutritional food, a child dies every ten seconds from hunger-related diseases.
But it doesn’t have to be this way. With simple interventions, such as providing healthy meals, nutritional supplements and treatment for infections, so many lives can be saved.
Raising awareness is also a central part of the programme. We therefore train teachers and healthcare workers on recognising and treating malnutrition.
