In April this year New Day members visited the Matara project and were incredibly taken with what the home is achieving and the support it is providing to these girls, all of whom come from depraved situations and are largely neglected by society.  The home needs much more support including material renovations to ensure a basic standard of living for the children. We have launched this campaign in an effort to materially improve the lives and living conditions of these girls and to give them hope for their future.New Day members and supporters will traverse the length of Lantau Island, HK, an arduous 27 km hike covering 10,000 feet of ascent and decent. For each km we aim to raise HKD20,000,  equivalent to two years of operations at the home, including funding much needed educational programs and taking on long overdue capital projects. This orphanage has limited options for funding and the lives of these young girls rely on our generosity and support.
