Story

This spearhead, found in Little Ellingham, Norfolk, comes from a medieval spear which may have been over two metres long. Spears were used by foot soildiers standing in two rows. The front row would use their spears to knock enemy shields and weapons out of the way and the second row would stab over the top. This would be an exciting item for anyone with an interest in local history or weaponry or a great way to let someone know you think they are a brave soldier.

The minimum donation to become a Silver Adopter of this object is £100. After clicking 'Donate', please enter this amount before continuing.
