Very premature babies being to vocalize as early as 8 weeks before their due date and vocalize more when a parent talks to them than when a member of staff talks to them. Reading also promotes bonding between parents and their babies and it provides them with moments of intimacy.
The more you talk to your premature baby the better their language and thinking at the age of 18 months.
