On September 10th Overgate Hospice will hold their ninth annual Midnight Walk. The event hosts a 6 or 13 mile secret route talking walkers around Calderdale. As 2016 is the year of Overgate Hospice's 35th anniversary a target of 1,000 walkers has been set in celebration. In previous years the walk has reached a high of 984 walkers. 

Overgate relies on sponsorship money from events like the Midnight Walk to generate much needed funds for the Hospice. The fundraising team need to raise a massive £6,800 each day just to keep the doors open. This could not be done without the amazing supporters and volunteers who generously offer their time and fundraising efforts each year.
